Presents, Pudding and Pyjamas

This year we put up the tree and decorations earlier than we usually do. We put them up on the 9th December, which is my sister's birthday , instead of around the 13th because of my sister's birthday. But I'm bored of them already so hopefully they will be taken down soon.

Presents

This year I wasn't woken up at some unreasonable hour, like 5 am  by my excited sister and brother. This year I was woken up at 7 am, by my brother who came running in to say Father Christmas had been. We then opened our stocking presents together and I got some lovely earrings, 3 headbands and a balsa wood aeroplane (all three of us got them) which we then put together and then took apart to find there that extra bit went.

After this we went down stairs to open our main presents with our parents. I loved the presents I got from everyone. From my brother I got a white tee- shirt, from my sister I got a purse which I was in desperate need of, and then I got another green khaki top with a skull on it, The Big Bang Theory seasons 1 -4 box set, the most recent Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film, 4 books from the Medusa Project series (a brilliant series that I would recommend to anyone), the new Taylor Swift album, Red, and Now That's What I Call Music! 83. Then I got a gift card and some money which will go towards more books, DVDs or clothes as I haven't decided which yet :)

Pudding

This is all about the lovely Christmas foods we ate all day yesterday and today but I needed another word beginning with 'P'.

I started off the day by eating chocolate coins, advent chocolate, and Haribo jelly sweets. Not all at once that would just be greedy.

Then at about 2 we had our Christmas dinner, which was very nice and festive. My mum made the roast potatoes differently this year and they were absolutely delicious. The whole meal was fantastically brilliant in every single way!!

Pyjamas

We all got ONESIES!!!!!!!!

I got a reindeer onesie!!! My sister got a Dalmatian one and my brother a Gorilla one and we put them on immediately after we open them. It's funny when we walk about in them as the legs are too long on them so we tend to trip over or walk around holding them up as to not trip over.

We wore them all day, even when we watched the Doctor Who Christmas Special.

The DW special was EPIC!!! I don't actually have the words to describe how excellent it was!! The twist was amazing and totally unexpected. I can't wait to see how the writer's are going to develop Clara's story (I don't know if that's going to be her name throughout the whole time she is the companion and if you have seen the episode then you'll know why)

Hope you had a great Christmas!!

Happy New Year!!!

Gosh two big celebrations within a week of each other why is it planned like that

Merry Christmas And A Happy New Year!!!!

Doctor Who Christmas Special 2012

Wow!! I've been doing a blog for over a year now so I thought I'd go back round in a wide circle and do another Doctor Who Christmas blog.

This year there will be no Amy in a short skirt or our Roman to save the day :( but we will be introduced to the new companion, Clara, played by Jenna Louise Coleman, who also played Oswin Oswald in another episode of DW.

Within the episode titled, The Snowmen, we should see a new interior to the TARDIS and a new companion with it. The episode is set in the Victorian age and the Doctor is  ''Retired'' but from what is the question that will soon be answered.

There will be snow men, there will be chaos and there will be the Doctor to save the day (hopefully). Ian McKellen will voice these Snowmen.

I can't wait to see this episode and I haven't seen any of the trailers or special previews but from what I've hear it will be a brilliant episode however much we miss the Ponds. As I haven't seen anything yet I can't make any predictions like I did last year and the new companion is introduced so we don't know much about her at the moment.

8 days and counting

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas, College, Cinema

Christmas is 9 days away!!! YAY!!!!

Christmas

I have brought 2 presents so far and have half made 2 others so I think that I might be slightly behind on my Christmas shopping, oops :) I love going through the town high street late at night because all the light's look so pretty but I prefer the old lights that we used to have, the ones that went across the road and were all tinselly and sparkly.

I think we might have gone overboard on decorations at home this year. I mean they are everywhere on windowsills, lights, the tree, cupboards and even on the shed outside. however when you walk upstairs the only thing relatively christmassy is the light up tree in my brother's room.

College

College has been awesome so far because other than falling behind on my work, I have made some great friends and have gotten to know people that I had misconceptions about. So I have truly learnt not to judge a book by it's cover or a person by the people they hang around with. I have made new friends and lost old friends but then if I've lost them then that means they weren't really very good friends otherwise we'd have stayed in touch. I've learnt more about myself and my friends in the last few months than I ever did in secondary school.

Lessons are a lot more difficult but then I've chosen to do some pretty difficult subjects at A-Level (Maths, Biology and Chemistry) but I'm getting on well with most of my teachers and I understand the majority of the work.

Cinema

Today I went to the cinema with 3 friends to see The Hobbit  which is a brilliant film and I recommend it to anyone even if they haven't read any of the Lord of the Rings books or The Hobbit or seen any of the films of the Lord of the Rings.

We got to the cinema 10 minutes early so sat in our seats and talked for a bit. When the Les Miserable advert came on one of my friends shouted out 'OMG!!! HELENA BONHAM CARTER!!!!' we all burst out laughing and told him to shush. Then the film started but the lights didn't go out, they eventually did after about 5 minutes.

There was a really funny bit in the film and everyone laughed but then this lady came over to our group and told us to be quiet even though everyone else was laughing. She said she could hear us from the back of the cinema but she didn't whisper this she shouted it right in my ear because I was at the end of the row. A few minutes later we laughed again and she glared at us but we just ignored her because we weren't going to let her spoil the film for us.

Anyway when we left at the end of the film there were 2 employees outside the door giving everyone a voucher to see a film of their choice when ever they want because the lights didn't go out so we were pleased about that. I already know that I'm going to use mine to see Les Miserable in January :D

Before we got to the cinema we played the elevator game. Where you have to run to the top floor of the multistory car park and get the lift down. You have to press all the buttons and if the lift stops and people get on you have to get out and run back to the top floor. The aim is to get right to the bottom without stopping. It was really funny as I was wearing heeled trainers and the floor was wet so I nearly fell over 4 times before I gave up and just stayed in the lift.

Have A Good Christmas!!!!!!
